Later this month, Pacific Legal Foundation will argue Tyler v. Hennepin County at the U.S. Supreme Court. The case is the culmination of 94-year-old Geraldine Tyler’s fight to get her home’s equity returned by the government, and PLF’s decade-long quest to end the unlawful practice of home equity theft in the dozen states where it’s legal.

Geraldine received over 25 friend-of-the-court briefs from an amazing array of individuals, business groups, associations, nonprofit law firms, law professors, think tanks, and government entities—from the Wisconsin Realtors Association to The Buckeye Institute to the AARP.

In this virtual discussion, PLF attorneys and amici partners will dive deep into the arguments made before the Court and respond to the arguments made by Hennepin County and the amici on their side.

Join us for an in-depth consideration of the issues at stake in the case, the legal arguments raised, and potential case outcomes.
